Where does Couvert deliver? 

At the moment, Couvert delivers exclusively in the De Rivierenbuurt neighbourhood in Amsterdam. We’re actively working on expanding to other areas soon!

Why do you offer only one dish per day?

Because focus works. By cooking just one dish per day, we: keep costs down, avoid food waste and deliver truly high quality. This allows Couvert to stay affordable while ensuring every meal is prepared with care. This is what’s on the table — and we stand by it. 

Do I need a subscription to order? 

No. Couvert works entirely without subscriptions. You order only when you feel like it, and creating an account is not required. 

Ordering

Is there a minimum order value?

No. There is no minimum order value. Dining alone? Simply order one meal and we'll take care of the rest.

How do I order a meal?

Simply place your order through our website. It’s quick and easy: your meal is ordered in just a few clicks. Then all you have to do is wait for it to arrive warm at your door or pick it up yourself.

Until what time can I order?

You can place your order until 8:00 PM on the same day. We'll then prepare and deliver your meal as quickly as possible.

Can I order in advance?

Yes. You can order up to one week in advance. We work with a menu curated together with our chefs, allowing you to reserve your favourite meals ahead of time.

Can I order multiple meals at once?

Absolutely. Whether you're ordering for yourself, your family, or friends, you can add multiple meals to a single order and we'll deliver them together.

Meals & Menu

How large are the portions?

Generous. Our meals are designed to be filling and satisfying, so you won’t be left hungry afterwards. A single portion is often enough for two young children to share.

Are the meals healthy?

Yes. Our meals are balanced, nutritious, and designed to provide everything you need for a complete evening meal.

Can I customise my meal?

Unfortunately not. We prepare one dish per day for everyone. However, all ingredients and allergen information are clearly listed, so you can decide whether a meal is right for you.

Are the meals halal, vegetarian, or vegan?

Sometimes. Whenever a meal is halal, vegetarian, or vegan, we clearly indicate this in the weekly menu.

Where can I find allergen information?

All allergen information is clearly displayed alongside each dish in the weekly menu.

Will my meal be delivered warm?

Usually, yes. Most of our meals are delivered ready to eat and served warm. Occasionally, a dish is intended to be enjoyed cold. In that case, this will be clearly stated on the menu.

What happens if I'm not home?

We ask that you are available during your selected delivery window. If you're not home, we'll do our best to attempt delivery again within the following hour. After that, the delivery attempt will be considered unsuccessful.

Can I choose a delivery time slot?

Yes. You can select your preferred delivery window:
